Lancia Stratos Model Cars

The Lancia Stratos HF, introduced in 1971, was the first Lancia developed exclusively for rallying. The sleek coupe with elaborate chassis was produced by Bertone, much more than the minimum homologation number (at that time 400) was not planned.

The first one used a 190 HP six-cylinder engine of the Ferrari Dino. In 1974 the four-valve cylinder head was tuned to 280 HP - so equipped the Stratos HF won the Rally world championships 1974 to 1976 in consequence. A racing version with turbocharger produced 560 HP.
