Jeep Cherokee Model Cars

The Cherokee is an off-road vehicle of the Jeep brand. The standard version features a manual six-speed transmission, automatic climate control and 17-inch light-alloy wheels. The higher-quality equipment variants Limited and Limited Exclusive have a 5-speed automatic transmission as standard and a downhill assistance system on board. The Jeep Cherokee has rear-wheel drive and the selectable all-wheel drive system can be activated manually or automatically.

Not everyone could be pleased with the look when the current Cherokee 2014 was presented - the Jeep fan community is regarded as quite tradition-conscious. Their icon is the Cherokee XJ from the 80s, hard to top. But Jeep has managed to take the Cherokee into the 21st century without it appearing soulless.

About Jeep Cherokee

The Jeep Cherokee is a versatile SUV that was first introduced in 1974 by American Motors Corporation. It was designed to be a rugged, off-road vehicle that could handle a variety of terrain and weather conditions.

The Cherokee quickly became a hit with consumers, thanks to its sturdy construction, powerful engine, and spacious interior. It was also praised for its comfortable ride and handling, which made it a popular choice for daily commuters as well as outdoor enthusiasts.

Over the years, the Cherokee underwent several changes and improvements. One of the most notable was the introduction of the XJ model in 1984, which featured a more aerodynamic design and improved fuel efficiency.

The Cherokee was also known for its exceptional off-road capabilities, thanks to its four-wheel drive system and high ground clearance. It was often used by outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers for activities such as camping, hiking, and rock crawling.

Despite its popularity, the Cherokee was eventually discontinued in 2001, and replaced by the Jeep Liberty. However, the Cherokee nameplate was later revived in 2014 with the introduction of the KL model, which featured a more modern design and advanced technology features.

Today, the Cherokee remains a popular choice among SUV buyers, thanks to its versatility, durability, and off-road capabilities. It continues to be a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts and adventurers.
