Ferrari 458 Model Cars

If Ferrari wants to speak of an entry-level model, this is most likely true for the 458 Italia. A classic V8 mid-engine sports car, which corresponds most to the image of the typical Ferrari.

Even the basic Italia version takes 570 hp and 540 Nm out of the 4.5-litre V8, for a naturally aspirated engine record-breaking figures. The same engine also powers the 458 Spider, the convertible. The Formula 1-tested engineers have managed to fit a metal folding roof above the mid-engine.

The 458 Speciale and its cabriolet version Speciale A deliver even more top performance: 605 hp. In addition, the Speciales are around 100 kilograms lighter than the weaker versions and brake with the carbon-ceramic discs that are also used in the LaFerrari.

Ferrari presented a facelift at the Geneva Motor Show 2015. The most important innovation is the name change to 488 GTB. The naturally aspirated engine is replaced by the 3.9-litre turbocharged engine from the California T. The new engine is a new generation of the Ferrari T. The engine has been extensively revised for use in the 488 GTB and delivers an impressive 670 hp and 760 Nm of torque.

Lighter, stronger, faster! This is how the Ferrari 458 Speciale presents itself in comparison to its base. The really special thing about this super sports car, however, is a small button in the interior. With this button the Side Slipangle Control (SSC) can be activated, a kind of drift aid for amateurs. Another innovation is the most powerful V8 ever built by Ferrari in the rear of the 458 Speciale.
